Greek used two specific words to deal with the concepts inherent in time 1 Thess. 5:1-2 – But concerning the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you… [cp. Acts 1:6-8] Understanding our responsibility toward Kairos details of time unimportant; you have work to do! Gal. 6:9-10 – And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Redeeming The Time Ephesians 5:15-17 Redeem = buying up for ourselves We must make the season we are given truly OURS – Ps 90:10; Ec 9:10; John 9:4 With what shall we buy up kairos? We must redeem kairos from whatever less important goals that our chronos might be going to serve! Chronos is limited, we must use it wisely: Ep. 5:15-17; Mk. 4:18-19

Redeeming The Time Ephesians 5:15-17 How will YOU use this moment you have been given? Will you allow this moment of chronos to pass into oblivion, or will you seize it, and use it as kairos for God? Today is the acceptable time – Today is the day of salvation! Wont you be a part of that?
