Railroad transit times are consistently improving, significantly reducing the gap between OTR and Rail. With high-tech lift technology and articulated intermodal railcars, damage to freight is minimized. And according to the EPA, railroads account for just 9 percent of total transportation-related nitrogen oxide emissions while also alleviating highway congestion.
