How We Learn It’s your decision…you choose what you will learn, or you can just sit there and pretend because it’s what we have to do. Because your motivated to learn those things that will provide an “internal payoff” rather than an external one. The most memorable learning comes from personal experience, or by working with someone you the learner perceived to be knowledgeable and wise.

How We Learn We learn best by having our own experiences, or by reflecting on the experiences of others. –Pay attention to what’s happening or happened in the past. –Remember what was seen. –Must be physically and intellectually capable of mimicking the behavior. –Have the motivation or reinforcement to model it.

Stories Your story, is your story it empowers you. Stories create an environment of trust. Stories create a bond among those who hear them. Stories engage the mind. Stories have a unique ability to diffuse conflict and differences of opinion. Stories encode a lot of cultural information. Stories provide a way to learn from personal or vicarious experiences. Stories can be used as weapons. Stories can heal.
