AND AT THE SAME TIME WE ALSO  Reorganised Learning Resources and ensured that RDM is an integral part of Academic Liaison Librarian roles  Established OBIS Business Partners in Faculties as key facilitators for academic staff queries re RDM and IT RDM sessions now part of new staff and research student induction programmes  Ran roadshows for each of the 17 REF Units of Assessment on Open Access and RDM between Oct-Dec 2014  Bought an archive solution – took delivery on 5 February 2015 and piloting with two research groups We thought progress would be slow – and it is! – but we are still moving forwards 2014 2015

ONGOING  Steering Group still meeting  Research Data Management Policy supported by an operational plan which is being constantly reviewed  Telling academics often and clearly what is already offered (!) really helps – sometimes these things are not as obvious as we think they are  Embedding our CRIS system – we have just started contacting PIs re their data at end of a project  Curation and preservation strategies and practices 2014 2015
