Welcome to St. Peter! The summer is rapidly drawing to a close. But we use this weekend to worship God in church and outside in His creation at K2L. Our hymns are printed in the service folder for use at either location. God’s blessings on our Seminary student speaker, Mr. Justin Shrum, whose wife Stacy was our first Key to Life Childcare Director from 2006-2008.
3
Welcome to St. Peter! There are friendship registers at the end of each row. Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today. Thank you!

For Our Guests If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. If you’d like to learn more about St. Peter and its ministry, please talk to a pastor or member after the service.

Oh, for a Faith that Will Not Shrink CW #405 Verses 1-6 Text: William H. Bathurst, 1796-1877 Setting: ST. PETER Tune: Alexander R. Reinagle, 1799-1877
35
Verse 1: Oh, for a faith that will not shrink Though pressed by many a foe, That will not tremble on the brink Of poverty or woe,
36
Verse 2: That will not murmur nor complain Beneath the chast'ning rod, But in the hour of grief or pain Can lean upon its God,
37
Verse 3: A faith that shines more bright and clear When tempests rage without, That, when in danger, knows no fear, In darkness feels no doubt,
38
Verse 4: That bears unmoved the world's dread frown Nor heeds its scornful smile, That sin's wild ocean cannot drown Nor Satan's arts beguile,
39
Verse 5: A faith that keeps the narrow way Till life's last spark is fled And with a pure and heav'nly ray Lights up the dying bed.
40
Verse 6: Lord, give us such a faith as this, And then, whate'er may come, We'll taste e'en now the hallowed bliss Of an eternal home.
