3 3 | Presentation title – 00/00/2012 Recent Successes National Apprenticeship Service More employers with more Apprentices There were 177, 320 workplaces with an apprentice in training in 2010/11, almost 50,000 more than the year before, with almost 700, 000 apprentices. More Advanced Level and Higher Apprentices 2010/11 saw faster growth for Advanced Level Apprenticeships than Intermediate Level. Higher Apprenticeships are also growing rapidly. Better Value for money Advanced Level and Intermediate Apprenticeships for adults produce economic returns estimated by NAO at £21 and £16 respectively for every £1 of public funding. More Success Success rates continue to rise too with a current record of overall success rate of 76.4%. More employers supported by NAS NAS supported 7,000 employers generating nearly 80,000 Apprenticeships in 2010/11.
