3. Warning This is workshop where we will all be learning and adapting these tools to suit our own students and situations. I just like to find exciting programs and experiment with them. If I find them fun, then hopefully my students will too, (and you).

5. Problems I don’t have Inspiration  $$$ I can’t download free programs to the server  (any actually) All students needed to be able to access it at the same time. We needed to be able to save our work. I wanted it to be super easy. Family tree making sites Blocked. Bubbl.us is the answer to all these and I’ll show you why.

6. Discussion For the next 5 minutes discuss with the people next to you talk about some of the restrictions you face at your own school when using ICT.

7. Family trees As part of our Inquiry unit in Term 1 “All About Me” we planned to have the students create family trees. The templates I found were boring and I wanted to integrate new ICT skills.

8. Take a look at these After 1 lesson the students went off on their own and created these family trees. Some took it upon themselves to go and research at home about their family. My page
