4 4 2008: A day in the life Public Health Inspectors conducted 33 restaurant inspections 28 recall visits were made during the listeriosis outbreak 130 children received dental screenings in schools 175 young mothers visited and had questions about child health and development answered 40 mothers seen at Well Baby Drop In clinics

5 5 2008: A day in the life 100 flu shots were given A “Fall Prevention” session was offered to 30 seniors Over 100 calls to the OPH Information Line were answered by trained health professionals 45 postpartum screening calls were made by Public Health Nurses

6 6 2008: A day in the life 50 couples, 30 young single pregnant women and 12 pregnant women from vulnerable circumstances learned more about having a healthy pregnancy Public Health Nurses met with over 90 school staff to offer services ranging from curriculum support, policy development and teacher training
