2. The Beginning Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929. Martin Luther King loved to play basketball. When Martin Luther King was 6 years old he couldn’t play with his white friends ever again.

3. School Days And Jobs Martin Luther King loved to read books and study hard. He was a student at Morehouse College. Martin became a minister in 1947. He went to church in Atlanta, Georgia.

4. He Believed Martin believed that everyone should live in peace. Also Martin believed that black and white people should go to the same schools, parks, or restaurants. Martin made a speech on August 29, 1963 he said, ‘’I have a dream.’’

5. His Death On April 4, 1968 Martin was standing outside his hotel room. James Earl Ray was hiding and he shot him with a rifle. Later Martin was dead. Martin’s gravestone was carved ‘’I’m free at last.’’
