Benefits of training Employees are more able to achieve the required standard and contribute to profit Employees progress within the organisation Increased competence leads to improved morale and job satisfaction (and so to increased productivity) Improved morale reduces costs Wastage and poor quality of work are reduced Trained employees are more flexible Management able to concentrate on strategic issues
