2. The Great Patriotic War was a great disaster for Russian people.

3. Nowadays we celebrate Victory Day in honor of people who defeated fascism during the Great Patriotic War. The 9-th of May is a great day. People of this country celebrate it by holding meetings near the monument of the Unknown Soldier, taking part in military parades, watching salutes.

4. People tell about their relatives who took part in the War. The whole town is decorated with signs of congratulation, portraits of our veterans, ribbons of St. George, colorful festive flags. In my town people celebrate t Victory Day as a prominent holiday. We have meeting, concerts, a salute. We give flowers and gifts to the veterans.

5. All people remember their relatives – heroes. Victory Day is the main holiday for the whole country and for everyone of us.
