Her mother Diane Wournos married Leo Pittman at age 15 on June 3,1954 and filed for divorce just 2 years later two months before Aileen was born
the product of a troubled marriage Leo Dale Pittman, a psychopathic child molester was in prison when Aileen was born for raping and attempted murder of a 7 year old girl

At a young age Aileen experienced molestation and sexual abuse from both her grandfather (Lauri) and brother (Keith)
At 14 Aileen became pregnant from Keith and was sent away to live in a home for unwed mother
On 23rd March 1971 she gave birth to a baby boy, who was given up for immediate adoption
She returned home and her grandmother died of liver failure shortly after

8. When she was 15, her grandfather threw her out of the house, and she began supporting herself as a prostitute and living in the woods near her old home
Aileen took up hitchhiking and prostitution
Her brother Keith died a few years later at the age of 21 from throat cancer
Her grandfather committed suicide at age 69
Aileen decided it was time to leave for good so she started hitchiking towards Florida

Aileen was 20 years old when she was picked up by a wealthy 69-year-old yacht club president
Shortly after arriving in Florida, they married
Fell earned a substantial income from railroad stocks
Fell took out a restraining order on Aileen after she was arrested back home in Michigan for hurling a cue ball at a bartender's head.
The marriage was subsequently annulled after Lewis Fell claimed that Aileen had squandered his money and would beat him with his cane whenever she wanted more cash.

On December 13, 1989, two young men were looking for scrap metal along a dirt road close to Interstate 95 in Volusia County, Florida

Because he lived an unpredictable life, there were no real leads and a stripper named Chastity was suspected

Identified on June 7 as David Spears 43 yo
Interstate 75 with the doors unlocked and the license plate missing. Spears had been shot several times with a .22

Body was so badly decomposed fingerprints could not be lifted
9 bullets damaged by decomposition were from a .22
Eventually the body was identified as Charles Carskaddon

14. On July 4, a car careened off State Road 315 near Orange Springs, Florida
Rhonda Bailey witnessed the crash and saw two woman a blonde and brunett argueing
The woman abandoned the 1988 Pontiac Sunbird
VIN # search showed the car belonged to Peter Siems who disappeared on June 7th from Jupiter Florida

Disaappeared early morning of July 30th after leaving for work
He never returned
His truck was found 4 am July 31st by the Marion county sheriff’s dept
State Road 19, twenty miles east of Ocala
The keys were missing and so was he

He had been killed with two shots from a .22 caliber gun, one to the chest and one to the back
His body was badly decomposed due to the heat but his wife identified him by his wedding ring

17. Dick Humphreys
A protective investigator specializing in abused and injured children
Florida's Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services
on September 11, he disappeared. On the evening of September 12 his body was found in Marion County
Shot 7 times with a .22

18. About a month later the nude body of Walter Gino Antonio was found on a logging road in Dixie County
Sixty-year-old Antonio was a trucker, a sometime security guard, and a member of the Reserve Police
He'd been shot four times with a .22. When he was found on November 19 he'd been dead less than 24 hours

Captain Steve Binegar was commander of the Marion County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division, and he knew about the crimes in Citrus and Pasco Counties
No one stopped to pick up hitchhikers anymore, so the perpetrator(s) of these crimes had to be initially non-threatening to the victims
he suspected the two women who had wrecked Peter Siems's car and walked

All the killings were done in self-defense, she claimed. Each victim had either assaulted her, threatened her, or raped her
