When putting an electrical plug into the socket, make sure that :he switch is off, your hands are dry & your fingers are away from the metal pins Always turn off all switches of electrical appliances after using them. Make sure that reflexes and plugs are in good condition. Keep electrical cords away from water and hot objects. Before using an appliance, make sure your hands are dry and that you are standing on a dry surface

Wipe off grease and water spills on the floor at once, to avoid slipping. Be careful with loose clothes and apron strings – those may catch on door handles. Wear low-heeled shoes that fit and make sure laces are tied Use a solid step-stool to climb up to reach the top of a cupboard. Pick up objects that have dropped on the floor. Avoid dangling electric cords
