ACTIVE PLAY BETWEEN THE FOUL LINES 15 The best way to officiate ‘between the foul lanes’ is……..  Just assume you partner has it and profile for the crowd.  As Lead, get to end line as fast as possible; as Trail just stay out of the way so you don’t get run over.  Split the play above the backcourt foul lane by the basketline. Lead and Trail box the action and both actively officiate.  Other
