2.  Visit Silesian? Yes, of course. This region is not only coal mines and factories. We can find here the historic buildings, telling us about the history and wonderful nature which amazes its richness. I’d like to take the readers on a little trip, which will help to know better Silesian Voivodeship. So, enjoy your vist!

3.  1. Czestochowa  This city is well-known for Pauline Jasna Gora monastery – home of Madonna painting. Every year, millions of pilgrims from all over the world come to Częstochowa to see it. You can aslo visit „Park Miniatur Zlota Gora” with John Paul II monument.

4.  2. Bedzin  In the heart of the city you can see a gothic castle erected in the 14h century. It was an important fortification in the Kingdom of Poland.

5.  3. Silesian Beskid Mountains  Do you want to ski, roam or admire the mountains in Silesia? Go to the Silesian Beskid! It’s about a 100 km from Katowice. Beautiful nature will amaze you and cities Cieszyn, Wisla and Zywiec give you a lot of fun!

6.  4. Silesian Amusement Park  If you aren’t afraid of height and speed – this is the place for you. In The Park in Chorzow there is a big ferris wheel and many rollercoasters. If it's too much for you, you may visit the zoo.

7.  5. Katowice  Katowice is the capital of Silesian Voivodeship. „Spodek” is the symbol of the city, but this is not the only one attraction. There are many cinemas, theaters (Korez, Silesian) and museums (Silesian, Hans Kloss Museum). In Katowice Silesian Opera is located, or if you prefer pop music, you can visit one of many clubs available in the center. I would recommend the historic districts: Giszowiec and Nikiszowiec. The city has a well developed infrastructure, so you should have no problems reaching the interesting places.
