6 Why 10? Slides should outline material Focus on who you are, what you do, and why it matters Branding: –Your image is your brand –Incorporate what makes you different on each slide, because people will pay attention and are more likely to respond

7 Studies show that the average attention span for an adult watching a presentation is twenty minutes Taking breaks: –You can extend the audience’s attention span by taking short breaks –Examples of effective “breaks”: a blank slide, a short story, or a demonstration Why 20?
