Edification What is the object of assembling together? Groups And Edification "An (effective) group is two or more individuals in face-to-face interaction, each aware of his or her membership in the group, each aware of the others who belong to the group, and each aware of the positive interdependence as they strive to achieve a mutual goal. Finding Jesus In The Mundane "The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.(Matthew 25:40) Christians need to learn to see God in the mundane things of life. Observing God in others lives.

Building Commitment To Hanging Out 1.Leaders need to model a commitment. 2.Educate your leaders. 3.Create opportunities for mutual edification. 4.Share testimonials. 5.Conduct a Bible seminar using group format.

Discussion Questions 1. What level of edification (sharing) occurs in your current class-groups? For those groups that are low how could you raise the level? 2. How can you develop more meaningful prayer time in your class time and home meetings? 3. What things can you as leaders do to increase members commitment to hanging out, particularly in group life?
