Preparing and Consulting o As part of programme delivery we are always making minor adjustments to ensure that the programme is up to date and relevant to the profession o Every five years in the University system programmes undergo a re- approval process that allows for larger changes to be made that reflect current developments and changes in regulations o Enhancements to the current programme Consultation o Clinical staff o Student Representatives o Recently qualified students o Service users o Academic staff, development of themes to include, oncology and physics etc.

Enhancements 1 - 3 1.Only 20 and 40 credit modules 2.Changes to assessment regulations and therefore a move to single assessments, exemptions applied where appropriate 3.No re-registration and NO exceptional 3 rd attempts

Enhancement 4: IPE Two strands (collaboration/ team working and research) Research now delivered in professional group – Year 1; UKESSP content to be merged into RONC PRO1 (one assessment) – Year 2; RONC Introduction to Research Methods (20 credits) – Year 3; RONC Dissertation(20 credits)

Reduction in Case Reports 21 case reports, 3 for each case discussion (7 X 3 = 21) There will be no case report guide, no mandatory or desirable lists 3 hours per week personal development time

Study Time Half a day self managed time to support academic and clinical studies 3 hours per week personal development time (on site) Personal development time to include for example completion of case reports, reflective practice, action planning etc. Study time is negotiated with clinical staff, cannot be stored up to make blocks of holiday and will be monitored
