5. Urbanization 3.3 billion people live in cities. 60% will live in cities by 2030. Almost 180,000 people move into cities each day. 60 million people move into cities each year in developing countries. Over the next 15 to 20 years, many cities in Africa and Asia will double in size.

6. By 2015, there will be 23 cities with a population over 10 million, 19 of which will be in developing countries.
