The VL-e PoC Distribution Prerequisites when installing the PoC: RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 – compatible distro: o RHEL 3 o Centos 3.6 o Scientific Linux 3.05 o Other distributions might work but are supported on a best effort basis only by VLeIT Sun Java2 SDK 1.4.2 RPM o VL-e packages depend on this RPM o Java SDK 1.5 might work, but again, is supported on a best effort basis only by VLeIT http://poc.vl-e.nl/distribution

The VL-e PoC Distribution Installing the VMware images: PC running Windows or Linux with 512 MB RAM (vm is configured with 256 MB) At least 5 GB hard disk space free Screen resolution 1024x768 Download free VMware Player from http://www.vmware.com/download/player Unpack the vle-poc-r1-part1.zip and vle-poc-r1- part2.zip files into an empty directory Install update(s) from http://poc.vl-e.nl/distribution/vmware.html That’s all folks! http://poc.vl-e.nl/distribution
