The objective of Jeevika [Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society ]: Livelihood Enhancement and Vulnerability Reduction
Jeevika works through creating SHG s of poor women and bigger community institutions.
Each SHG member/ Didi is representative of poor Household
Mgnrega is one such scheme which ensures employment for 100 days and hence reduces vulnerability context of poor.

Lack of interest and motivation in workers due to late receipt of wages
Bridge loan after 7 days of work done to the worker for a period of 3 months
Bridge Financing support of 80% of actual wage earned
