Christ’s Sinless Nature Part of God’s Plan Was a prediction Our sinfulness is a prediction In other words…. Christ didn’t have to sin –He proved this through his sinless life We don’t have to sin (but we will) –I Cor. 10:13, Romans 3:10,23 –The choice is ours

Sin’s Personal Consequences Would Christ Have Been Lost? Would there have been a savior if Christ hadn’t have fulfilled prophecy? Sin separates us from God (not from his love, but from his fellowship) I Jno. 1:5-10

The Effect on Humanity if Christ Sinned There would be no savior We would be lost with no hope Romans 5:17 –Death reigned through the transgression of Adam –Life reigns through the righteousness of Christ Romans 3:23 By our merits, we have fallen short

We Have These Tools! Each one and each category are provided to us by God We have no excuse We say “but I’m only human…” so was Christ

In Summary Christ Did Not Sin! We do not have to sin If we do sin, we have an advocate (I Jno. 2:1-2)
