Why are we gifted? So Christ himself gave (gifts)…to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

Why are we gifted? To encourage mutual serving Goal—internal strengthening Unity around the essentials of the faith Ever–increasing knowledge of Jesus To make the church function like a living, breathing Jesus on the earth

How can I know what gift I have? Examine your desires Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit… 1 Corinthians 14:1a Examine how the community responds to you Take advantage of your opportunities
