11. ◆ Most people are not homeless because of addiction or mental illness, they are homeless because of a loss of family. ◆ There are about 1,000 chronically homeless men and women on the streets of Austin, Texas, and the Mobile Loaves & Fishes Community First! Village will lift 20% of them off the streets and into a permanent home. ◆ The Community First! Village will provide dignified ways for people to work so they can find purpose in their lives and support themselves. ◆ All houses come fully furnished and move in ready. LT’s Goal is $10,000!
