4.  Test on Shakespeare and More!  Watch a short excerpt from Much Ado About Nothing, if time

5.  Work on final draft of research paper in Rm. 214

6.  Do SAT/ACT Practice #8: in The Real ACT Guide do p. 297-299 (#31-45) and p. 324- 327 (#31-40)  Work on packet

7.  Note: Friday we will be playing vocabulary games for part of the period, so this will be the only day to really work on your packet.

8.  Play Scattegories as a vocabulary review game for part of the period;  Look over The New Yorker cartoons and come up with captions to each cartoon in a group  Illustrate a word from your vocabulary unit on a piece of paper and have people guess what it is  Create a skit in a group on a word from your vocabulary units and have students try to guess the word.

11.  Complete peer editing for research paper; begin revising paper to turn in final draft (This will be your only time in the lab until December 16; This will also be a good time to ask me questions about your paper as you WILL NOT be getting every single correction that needs to be made by me on your R.D. unless you make a conference to speak with me before or after school)  Work on Read like a Rock Star project (due Dec. 8 when class starts), Reading Log (due tonight at 11:59 pm), Discussion Board topic for Read like a Rock Star book (due Dec. 8 at 11:59 pm), or preparing for Socratic Seminar on Walden (instructions of which are on p. 202-203, and it will be Dec. 8 after you present your Read like a Rock Star project)  Note: Your Thoreauvian Experience will be on January 10 th (after I collect the notebook); please adjust your schedule accordingly

12.  Share RLARS Project  Complete Socratic Seminar on Walden  Complete Thoreau House Stompin’  Reminder: Next class period we will be completing AP Essay #4, which will be an argument essay based on a topic from Walden. You may bring your book if you wish to use it.

13.  AP Essay #4 on Walden  Complete AP MC Practice (#6 and #7)  Bring Walden next class period as well for a group activity (you will be writing a test on Walden and submitting it to www.turnitin.com)

14.  Work on creating test on Walden; you will submit what you have at the end of the period as long as see you have been working hard. (If your group has not, your group will have to finish it for homework.)  Next class period we will be in Rm. 214 to work on our final draft of the research paper
