8 Wednesday Whole Group Lesson  Comprehension Lesson T60-T61  Rereading for Understanding T62 Centers  Center 1 – Chose multiple meaning words – draw and write the word  Center 2 – writing prompt from reading book page 57  Center 3 – Explore Dave Pilkey’s Website  Center 4 – Guided Reading – page 29 and 30 in workbook  Center 5 – Fairytale sentence game T63 – Handwriting practice with spelling workbook  Center 6 – On computer there will be a vocabulary connection game with short vowel sounds and riddles

9 Thursday Whole Group Instruction  Homophones  Adding ed, s and ing  What is a Sentence Centers  Center 1 – What is a sentence – Color sheet  Center 2 – Use digital camera to take 6 pictures of things with that have “short I and short a”  Center 3 – Guided Writing - Adding details to writing practice page 36  Center 4 – Daily Language Practice  Center 5 – Reading a chart workbook page  Center 6 – Use “Word” on student computers to rewrite sentences using capital and end marks

10 Friday  Finish undone centers  Review skills  Weekly Skills Test  Students who are finished with all work will plug into computer and itouch to learn spanish.  Write a silly story – Take to computer lab and type as much as possible. While kids are typing they will come to smart board two student at a time and practice spelling words

11  Writing Sample will be assessed on a 1-5 Rubric Scale  Weekly Skills Unit test Scored 1-5  Daily Language Skills Paper on a 10 pt scale  Participation on a 1-5 Rubric
