The Bank formulates its actions in the context of a Strategy for each country Negotiated with each new government Regional Operations Dept. 1 Country strategies: documents jointly defined between the Bank and the government setting a framework for all Bank-financed operations Government changes in 2003 in several counties of the region Medium-term transition program in place redefine strategy in next months for 4 countries of the region.
