GOOD MORNING, MY WONDERFUL ENGLISH 9 STUDENTS Today I am going to be an old-fashioned fuddy duddy teacher. A throw-back to the classic days of instruction which have become passe and very out-of-date – not to mention extremely ineffective. However, I am in deep and intense need of some long-term vocal rest. My voice is strained beyond comfort. And today there will be no lecturing. So…we’re going to combine several days’ mini-lessons into one today. Using the text book we started exploring yesterday, please find and define the following literary terms in your notebooks – and be ready to use some examples where applicable in future classes. Sorry for being so boring today – but this voice thing concerns me.
