Subject Study- Adriana 9 years old 3 rd grade (GT/Regular) Hispanic Primary language Spanish at home “Traditional Family” and Grandmother Both parents work, Grandmother watches children 1 younger sibling with difference No medicine Being tested of Dyslexia

Observation Period 1 Mrs. Johnson’s 3 rd grade GT class –Incessant talking –Distracting other students –In and out of seat –Not following directions –Could not spell Copy or independently –Classroom environment

Observation Period 2 Mr. Schweer’s 3 rd grade regular class –Quiet –Followed directions when working alone –Did not follow directions when left to self or Mr. Schweer –Was not as distracting –Left her seat often –Couldn’t focus on a specific task –Lisp –Classroom environment
