2. Define: O Is a neurological syndrome generally characterized by impulsivity, distractibility, and hyperactivity that is inconsistent with the age of the person O Often students with ADHD have symptoms that are inappropriately diagnosed as other disabilities.

3. Characteristics students with ADHD are different from their peers because they can’t concentrate or control their impulses I. Does not pay attention to details II. Difficulty listening to what is being said III. Struggles through and completing assignments at home and school IV. Problems with organizing tasks V. Avoids tasks that require challenging activities
