The ring is what the book centers around. Who ever wears the ring, disappears from sight. Sauron want the ring because of the ring’s power, and it gives him power to control all the other rings that are in Middle Earth.
6
The Fellowship The fellowship in the story is the group that goes together on the quest to destroy the ring. The group consisted of Frodo, Sam, Pippin, Mary, Gimli, Legolas, Gandalf, Aragorn, and Boromir.
7
The Quest The quest to destroy the ring is not easy. In the first book alone Frodo has already ran into many enemies and gone on a long dangerous journey heading toward Mordor to destroy the ring.
8
The Ending The book ends with Frodo and Sam setting out together on their own to finish their quest to destroy the ring. Frodo could no longer trust the fellowship after Boromir tried to take the ring away from Frodo. Frodo and Sam notice that Gollum has been following them and they continue on to destroy the ring. Also everyone believes that Gandalf has died.

Review I enjoyed reading the book, but at times it was boring. I enjoyed watching the movie more, but I liked reading it too. The book had parts that were not in the movie, which was interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes to read adventure or action books.
