3 PBIS Positive Behavior Intervention Support This program promotes positive behavior. It has been in place for the last several years here at Blackburn. The students are issued tickets for great behavior. We have a class store which the students can visit to purchase items with their tickets. We will accept donations for our class store. 12 Field Trips We will go on 3 field trips this year. We will be participating in hands-on learning trips at Patterson Farms, Asheboro Zoo, and the Catawba Science Center. We will be taking chaperones to Patterson Farms in October and Asheboro in April if you are interested in assisting your child’s teacher. If you obtained a background check last year, it is still current. If you have not had a Catawba County background check, you can complete one for the cost of $7.75.
