SUMMARY This session discusses how, Title III support made it possible for the UVI’s Information & Technology Services component to improve significantly technologies, programs, and services affecting faculty, staff and students. This includes, especially, improvements to the University’s ERP Banner and its Course Management System, Blackboard. 2

LEARNING RESOURCES & FACULTY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES - OBJECTIVES 15 By 2012, increase to 90% the number of faculty consistently using the instructional technologies available at UVI. By 2012, 60% of the full time faculty will participate in training to build capacity among faculty for using UVI’s technology (i.e. smart classroom equipment, e-learning applications).
