CCHS Sports Teams Available Fall Sports - Boys and Girls Soccer, Girls Volleyball Winter Sports - Boys and Girls Basketball, Cheerleading Spring Sports - Baseball, Softball, Boys and Girls Track High Level of Student Participation (+75% of students in at least one sport )

CCHS Athletic Program Developments IHSAA Member, Class 1A, District 1, Sectional 49 – smallest 1A school in NW Indiana Member of NWISC Soccer Conference, Class 1A, Sectional 34 Schedules Include Many Local Public Schools, Some Christian Schools, Less Travel Sectionals Excitement – 4 years Hosted Girls Soccer Sectional in 2012

…Students Continued Mandatory Daily Practice Attendance (sec. 3) CCHS Commitment - No Quit Policy (sec. 7) Conduct Policy - “Detention Policy” (sec. 2) IHSAA Rules - Non-school team participation (club sports – ie. indoor soccer/AAU) Multiple Extracurricular Activities (sec. 11) Summer and Off-season activities Open gyms, conditioning programs, camps, and leagues. (recommended and available, but not required to participate on school team)

Be aware…scheduling issues IHSAA Moratorium Week –2013: July 1-July 7 –IHSAA Fall sports: No activity – July 29- August 4 (CCHS - All sports) Games and Practices during school breaks (Thanksgiving / Christmas / Spring Break)

Parent Involvement Gate Duty- assigned/sign-up Concessions- assigned/sign-up Carpooling/Bus Additional costs for team apparel - NO athletic fee Schedule Changes (office/website) - be flexible
