Peninsula Alliance Shuttle Pass Presented by Clancy Systems International, Inc.

Goal  Establish Easy-to-Use paid monthly shuttle pass program  Install Easy-to-Use Demonstration System onboard three shuttle busses (Phase One Test)

Customer Interface  RFID pass for wallet  Key fobs may be used as a future option  Link Shuttle Pass information to existing Alliance website

How Does It Work? Testing Phase One (Company Only)  Companies issued a number of “active” shuttle passes  Shuttles fitted with: Computer RFID pass reader Wireless interface  Web Site developed for reporting and tracking utilization

Rider Use  Rider boards shuttle bus  Scans Pass  Reader accepts pass, or  Reader alerts bus operator of non- active account  Transaction in 1 second or less

Information Flow Testing Phase One  Company issued RFID passes  All issued passes marked “active” and “non- expiring”  At Company or Alliance discretion, a pass may be “deactivated” via the administration web site  When used the pass will be logged into a database for reporting pass, Company, name, date, time, location, etc.

Use Data Flow  As RFID pass is scanned Online system checks rider status – active or not active Displays status on shuttle bus: Green: Active Yellow: Not Active, patron boards and operator reminds patron to contact employer Red: 2nd Day Not Active, no ride given

Monthly Management Reports  List of all shuttle passes by company  Frequency of use  Company or work location of rider  Other reports as requested

Clancy Provides  Web sites  Shuttle computers & mounts  Shuttle RFID readers  Shuttle wireless  RFID passes  All testing and operational support

Alliance Provides  3 Shuttle busses for testing including 1 spare  Installation and hookup of computers Two 12Volt connections per bus  Clancy supplies final hookup  Suggestions and direction Reporting Operations Requests for additional services (GPS, etc.)

Hardware Overview

Samsung Q1 (IDM or similar)  Ultra Mobile Portable Computer  Connected to wireless router  Connected to RFID reader  Requires power connection to shuttle

Shuttle Mount

RAM-B-166-SAM1  An easy “no drilling” installation  Suction mount  Movable During test we’ll find the best location

RFID Reader

DLP-RFID1 USB RFID Reader  Connects to Q1 computer via USB cord  Reader activates computer to display: Green = Active Yellow = Contact Employer Red = Non-Active

Internet Connectivity

Sprint Card

KR1 Wireless Router  Front and back view  Uses Sprint “Air Card” for internet access  During test left “open” so it may be used by riders for internet access  Requires power connection to shuttle
