2. 2 Mission The purpose of this project is to partner community colleges, business and industry, and professional organizations for the development of AST instructors and their curriculums so that both may more effectively incorporate emerging automotive technologies and current teaching and learning methods to better meet the needs of students and the automotive industry.

3. 3 Vision: The NC automotive curriculum will be NATEF compatible and have courses that allow for local differences.
