Increases the chances of having a heart disease. Heart diseases are 28% of U.S. deaths.

More If you get secondhand-smoke for 1-7 hours a week you risk 24% of getting a heart disease. Chewing tobacco or water pipes also effects you too.

Smoking effects to infants
The child can be born to early, miscarriage, low birth weight which can cause SIDS (Sudden infant death syndrome ) (SIDS is the leading death for infants). Increases the kids chance of getting asthma.

Effects on Mothers Unable to get pregnant.
Nicotine can be found in breast milk. Only 18%-20% moms stops smoking when they get pregnant.

1st disease linked to smoking. More smoking = More chance of getting cancer. Less smoking = Less chance of cancer.

Lung Cancer Lung cancer most common cancer.
Women + men get lung cancer b/c of smoking. Men 22 times and women 12 times more of getting lung cancer. “Lower yield of tar” smokes doesn’t decrease chance of lung cancer.

70% of cancer = nonsmokers 30% = smokers Greece of least cancer but most smokers. Lung cancer happens because of old age. Smoking decreases chance of breast cancer 50%.
