What is NSBE? The National Society of Black Engineers is one of the largest student-governed organizations with over 30,000 pre-collegiate, collegiate, and professional members worldwide. At TAMU, we are focused on improving the success and retention of minority STEM majors and developing students for professional excellence. The NSBE Torch symbolizes our everlasting desire to achieve success in this competitive society and to effect positive change in the quality of life for all people. The lightning bolt represents the striking impact that will be felt by the industry due to our contributions and accomplishments.

A Walk for Education Saturday, October 10, 2015 10:00am-2:00pm Lincoln Center

What is A Walk for Education? A Walk for Education (AWFE) is a NSBE signature event to increase the awareness of opportunities in college in the Black community, specifically STEM. Volunteers will walk through neighborhoods to pass out information about Texas A&M and the School of Engineering admissions, SAT/ACT, and financial aid.
