2 A Cleaner, Greener, Safer Road to Excellence INTRODUCTION Stratford on Avon DC has an annual State of the District Debate as per the Council’s Constitution – this is the start. Consultation with the public and with Councillors. This year public consultation through the Community Forums and SDC website. Will report back to Autumn Forum on issues raised and proposed actions.

3 A Cleaner, Greener, Safer Road to Excellence WELLESBOURNE/KINETON LOCALITY CENSUS HIGHLIGHTS Wellesbourne/Kineton Locality Population = 15,741 Lower % in the 20 to 39 age group (20.3%) vs. County (24.4%) Higher than average % of “white British” at 95%, County 89% Have 2 nd highest number of rooms per household for any locality – 6.54 vs 5.70 (County) 7.2% of those in work do so mainly at or from home, the 4 th highest % in County (4.3%) More likely to have two or more cars (54% vs. 42% County) and live in a detached house (42% vs. 28% County) Above average % of adults educated to degree level or higher (35% vs County 29%) Comparison with all 30 localities in Warwickshire

4 A Cleaner, Greener, Safer Road to Excellence WELLESBOURNE/KINETON LOCALITY RESIDENTS SURVEY HIGHLIGHTS  Above average number feel people from different backgrounds get on well together (75%)  Satisfaction higher than average with their local GP (88% vs District Average 84%)  Satisfaction with services dealing with sports/leisure, parks & open spaces, play areas, toilets, bus services and local transport information were all below the District Averages.
