2. About Sprig Health Who we are – A small (17 person team) startup funded by Cambia Health Solutions (Previously known as Regence) What we do – Build and maintain an online marketplace for individuals to make and pay for doctor and other health care appointments

3. The Problem We are currently expanding our business, this means… – Diversifying with different types of providers – Launching services in different states – Adding more providers (160+ and growing) Currently, it is inefficient to keep up with the demand of verifying provider licenses

4. What We Want A tool that will perform this task and reduce overhead of bringing on new providers User interface that allows entering information for multiple providers – You will research what is necessary to identify each provider(Name, State, ID #) per state requirement Returns which (if any) specialties each provider is licensed to practice in a given state (Some providers have multiple specialties)

5. The Details… Preferably implemented in Ruby and/or JavaScript Web UI but supports batch processing, with report stored in a file (XML, CSV, etc…) Support checking licenses in Oregon and Washington (requires research on the licensing look-up services)

6. The Details… Confirm with the user the CORRECT provider is chosen (if multiple providers have the same name) Stretch Goal: Build a secure API that our production website can call Stretch Goal: Add configuration to support additional states license boards, including those in Utah, Illinois, and Texas

7. What You Get Designing and building a web application that serves a real business and consumer need Experience doing an end-to-end project – Build a standalone application from scratch – To be deployed and hosted in the cloud – Implement user authentication and API support Work with an up-and-coming local (Extremely local, across the street from FAB) organization

8. What You Get Experience designing a system that integrates manual and automatic processes Experience with gathering information from disparate data sources (business and government) Build health IT components that help people make their own health care decisions
