2 is the product of the North Carolina Community College System Office efforts to use Carl D. Perkins State Leadership professional development funds in the most effective way possible.

3 To promote quality teaching and learning in North Carolina Community Colleges through a collaborative, statewide professional development system committed to sharing best practices, leveraging resources, and avoiding duplication. NC-NET Mission

9 Role of Regional Centers Serve as a champion for teaching excellence Monitor best practices in program area(s) Create professional development resources in program area(s) Serve as regional communication vehicle for NC-NET activities Serve as regional hub for face-to-face workshops for all program areas. Work with NCCCS and other centers to accomplish network goals

10 Role of Campus Liaisons Serve as communication vehicle between regional centers and individual colleges Help foster collaborative professional development efforts at local level Share information about local efforts through NC-NET Resource Exchange Distribute NC-NET information to faculty and staff on their campus Encourage participation in online forums, online courses, and face-to-face workshops
