25. Other Scorer Responsibilities The scorer times technical time outs, usually 1 minute. The scorer times the time between the sets (3 minutes) and notifies the 2 nd Referee after 2 minutes 30 seconds. Do NOT let anyone (except the 1 st Referee) write on your score sheet. The captains & coaches have no right to do so!
