Driver Advisory Systems DAS – in cab driver advisory systems to help driver optimise speed profile (but does not override instructions received from signalling system) Benefit of DAS Traction energy saving Reduced acceleration and deceleration (less wear and tear) Reduced risk of passing signals at danger Improved passenger experience (less frequent unplanned stops)
