7. THE CALL TO WORSHIP [ Pastor / CONGREGATION ] Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN: and the government shall be upon His shoulders; AND HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED -

8. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. Of the increase of His government and peace THERE SHALL BE NO END. He will reign on the throne of David, AND OVER HIS KINGDOM, ESTABLISHING IT AND UPHOLDING IT

SILENT PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING AND CONFESSION THE ASSURANCE OF PARDON 1 John 1:5,7 This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you: It is that God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. And so if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all our sin.

21. Mark 1:1 ‑ 8 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It is written in Isaiah the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way”—“a voice of one calling in the desert, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ ” And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

22. The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. And this was his message: “After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
