3 The Media Center is in the center of the building located between two main hallways The Media Center is easily accessible to all classrooms in the school.

The Media Center has two walls with windows that you see from both hallways. The windows are decorated depending on the months activities. Book covers hang from the windows to show different types of books for students to check out. 4

The MS circulation desk and office are centrally located and right next to each other. The Media Clerk has a 180 degree view of the Media Center. 6

The main seating area is made up of 9 adult size rectangular tables. Tables are mainly used for faculty meetings. 7

Drop down screens are accessible from the ceiling as well as computer cart stations for meetings and teaching lessons. 2 couches for student use as well as a rug for reading. 8

12 computers are available for use, all computers have access to printers Computers are located on either side of the circulation desk, 6 on one side and 6 on the other side Computer lab located across the hall with 36 computers. All classrooms have 3 student computers plus 1 for teacher use 9

Teacher resource room: contains educational videos, big books, and laminator for teacher use AV room: contains video equipment and resources for teachers 10

Leveled Library: contains DRA leveled readers for students, graphic organizers for small groups, specific books for teaching strategies Control Room: contains computer systems 11

Nonfiction lines the walls starting beside the circulation desk and wraps around to the side door. Easy picture books are on short shelves and create a line through the MS Fiction lines the wall starting at the reference section and ending at the biography section 12
