What is Molar Mass The SUM of the atomic masses of the atomic species as given in the molecular formula. 2 x 35.45 g= 70.90 g/ mole Cl 2 Cl 2 Atomic mass from periodic table (Rounded to nearest hundredth)

Example 1: Molar Mass of H 2 O Given is H 2 O Step 1: H: 2 x 1.01= 2.02 g/mol O: 1 x 16.00 = 16.00 g/mol Step 2: Add 2.02 g/mol + 16.00 g/mol= All answers MUST be rounded to nearest hundredth!! ANSWER 18.02 g/mol H 2 O
