What to expect Application Fee Waiver (form required) Official Transcript College Admission Test Scores (ACT or SAT) Essay(s) Recommendations – usually two teachers and one counselor Interviews (highly selective schools) Deadlines

ACT & SAT Take the ACT for free in March Depending on where you are applying, you may not need to take another entrance exam Take the SAT if necessary When do you need SAT II’s (subject tests)? Have scores sent to 4 schools for free when you take college admissions tests

Paying for College FAFSA For ALL post-secondary education Apply immediately after January 1 st of senior year Scholarships College Career Center CIS OSAC-application for scholarships for Oregon residents Prepare before Jan. 1 st, submit after FAFSA is filed
