6 Classroom Rules are consistent with school rules. Students are to demonstrate courtesy and respect at all times. Safety is the primary concern for all. Refer to the student handbook. 1. Enter the room calmly, quietly and ready to learn. 2. Listen and follow directions. 3. Be prepared for class (paper, pencils, text, notebook, etc…). 4. No put downs 5. Do your Best 6. Respect and Honesty 7. No extra items like food, drinks, toys, cell phones or any other distractions. 8. Common Sense 9. Continue to have fun with math.

7 Materials Grades are based on the following: 3 Subject Notebook Sized 8 ½ x 11 Assessments/Tests60% Pencils Assignment/Activities40% Color Pens (4) Highlighters Calculator Flexible ruler.

8 Point System – Letter grades will correspond to the following: 90% - 100%of total possible points = AWay Above Average 80% - 89%of total possible points = BBetter than Average 70% - 79%of total possible points = CAverage 60% - 69%of total possible points = DBelow Average 50% - 59%of total possible points = F Far Below 90% - 100%= AAdvanced 80% - 89%= BProficient 70% - 79%= CBasic 60% - 69%= DBelow Basic 50% - 59%= F Far Below Basic

10 Vital Information  Late Work accepted with deduction of points  Students responsible for all absent work including test and quizzes  Check for homework completion  Please have WAG signed weekly.  Student and Parents check Q for grades
