All about Dubai Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates located on the north-eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered by Abu Dhabi on the south, Sharjah on the north-east, and the Sultanate of Oman on the south-east. It is also the second-largest city in the United Arab Emirates after Abu Dhabi; it covers an area of 1,588.4 square miles leaving the Emirate to have a population of 2,262,000.
