Thank you for coming to visit us today and thank you for bringing the sunshine/liquid sun.
My name is Janice Kay and I am the Provost here at the University and I am the person responsible to the Vice Chancellor for all aspects of our academic life, so on behalf of all the staff here – Welcome I am also a Mum of 2 University age children , so have been through this process a few times and really understand both the excitement for the next stage of the journey and the nervousness about choosing the right path. Open Days are your opportunity to find out what you need to know, ask all the questions you want, chat to our ambassadors about their experiences …after all they are the experts really. My talk today is to give you an overview of Exeter, both the University and the city, in order to help you decide if this is the place for you.
